Banana Bread

Ingredients
• 3 ripe bananas, mashed
• 1/3 cup melted butter
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 tsp baking soda
• Pinch of salt
• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• Optional: 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
2. Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan
3. Mix mashed bananas with melted butter
4. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla
5. Sprinkle baking soda and salt over mixture
6. Add flour and mix until just combined
7. Pour into prepared loaf pan
8. Bake for 60-65 minutes until toothpick comes out clean
9. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto wire rack
